For Military Families

Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare is honored to serve children of military families. We provide comprehensive residential treatment for military-connected young men, ages 12 to 17, who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties. Our programs are specifically designed for youth with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring intellectual disabilities. We also specialize in working with young men who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

In addition to serving military families from Virginia, we are able to serve children of active duty and retired military families from across the United States and overseas. If physical distance prevents in-person therapy sessions or visitation, special arrangements can be made. Telehealth services are available, and we can also conduct therapy sessions by phone. We also will work closely with the therapist in the family’s home community to provide a high level of continuity before, during and after treatment.

Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare is a TRICARE®-certified, licensed and accredited residential treatment facility with an onsite school offering educational and vocational services.
