Liberty Point Behavioral Healthcare, located in Staunton, Va., provides trauma-informed psychiatric residential treatment for young men. Our continuum of care is intended to meet the needs of adolescent males, ages 13 to 21, who are experiencing complex emotional, behavioral, and educational difficulties. Programs are specifically designed for youth with psychiatric disorders and co-occurring intellectual disabilities. We also specialize in working with young men who are diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
Our program continuum offers two levels of care to accommodate the different treatment needs of the youth referred and the severity of their conditions. Secure residential treatment provides intensive programming within a secure, campus style setting, while community-based residential treatment allows youth to live in smaller, therapeutic group homes in a neighborhood of Staunton near the residential campus. Liberty Point Academy, our fully licensed on-site school, provides educational and vocational programming to help our boys get back on track and leave with a plan for the future.
Our facility is conveniently accessible from exit 220 off Interstate 81. Get directions using our interactive map.
