Point Behavioral Healthcare, LLC offers young men with intellectual disabilities and co-occurring mental health issues the
opportunity for residential treatment in a safe and secure
environment that encourages growth and self-responsibility. In our secure residential setting or at one or our community based group homes, we help prepare these young men for return to a home, a less
restrictive environment, or to independent living.
The primary focus is on encouraging constructive change and personal growth, learning positive ways to get appropriate attention, improving behavior choices, developing a sense of responsibility for actions, learning problem-solving skills, and developing thinking patterns that support positive relationships.
Liberty Point is happy to announce the expansion of our community based services. We recently opened a second community group home! The program will serve male adolescents, ages 16 – 21, who have intellectual disabilities ranging from 45 to 75 IQ. They must also have a psychiatric diagnosis and often have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. For more information, call our Admissions Department at 540-213-0450.
